Del Conca, my first 40 years

Ceramica del Conca S.p.A. was founded forty years ago, during the Christmas holidays in 1979. Leading the project were Secondo Enzo Mularoni (known to everyone as Cino) and his son Enzo Donald, whose idea resulted, over the following years, in the creation and development of four brands,  DEL CONCA, PASTORELLI, FAETANO, and DEL CONCA USA.

With a production capacity of twenty million square metres per year guaranteed by production plants spread over Italy, San Marino,  and the United States,  the brands have continuously evolved in terms of both technology  and market, transitioning from double-fired to single-fired products, and moving on to introduce porcelain stoneware, digital technology, and oversize slabs.

The long history of Ceramica del Conca provided the backdrop to the life of its founder, Cino Mularoni, which was  recently recounted in a book  by journalist Sergio Barducci titled "Una vita piena di futuro" [A life full of future].  Cino Mularoni embraced a culture of innovation, handing down his values first to his son Enzo Donald, and then to his grandsons, Paolo, Davide, and Marco, the third generation now heading the group.  The head office is still located in Faetano in the Republic of San Marino, where it all began.
